production
Video producers range from cinematographers to studio camera operators and videographers. These roles all use relatively the same equipment but with different purposes depending on what they are communicating to their audience. Film and video editors and camera operators manipulate images that entertain or inform an audience. Camera operators capture a wide range of material for television, movies, and other media. Editors arrange footage shot by camera operators and collaborate with producers and directors to create the final content.

“The video production program changed my life. I experienced homelessness in high school and Mr. Betters let me stay in his classroom as long as he could. He allowed me to use the equipment and practice what I learned in class and create my own things. Now I am a director and video producer for a local company that specializes in Colorado tourism videos. I owe it all to Mr. Betters!”
